Ingredients:
- 2 Italian sausage
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 small stripped green pepper
- 1 small thinly sliced onion
- 1/4 teaspoon dried basil
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 cup spaghetti sauce
- 2 brat buns, split and toasted
- 2 tablespoons shredded Italian cheese blend
Directions:
- Place water and sausages in a large skillet; bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover for 10 minutes, and simmer. Uncover; cook longer than 5-10 minutes, or until meat is no longer pink; rinse. Remove and keep the sausages warm.
- Sauté pepper and onion in oil in the same pan, until tender. Back to a plate of sausages. Stir in basil and spaghetti sauce; heat up.
- Add the sausages with pepper and onion then add sauce cheese on buns.
- Serve hot and enjoy.
